# Quickstart

> Authenticate and call your first SendPadi merchant endpoint.

# Quickstart

## 1. Get API keys

Create a test or live key in the [developer dashboard](https://developer.sendpadi.com).

| Mode | Key prefix |
| - | - |
| Test | `sp_test_` |
| Live | `sp_live_` |

Same host for both: `https://api.sendpadi.com`

## 2. Sign every request

Canonical string:

```
{timestamp}.{METHOD}.{path}.{rawBody}
```

Headers: `X-Api-Key`, `X-Timestamp`, `X-Signature` (HMAC-SHA256 hex).

## 3. First call — wallets

`GET /api/v1/merchant/wallets` · scope `wallets:read`
