# Validate electricity

> Verify a meter number against a disco plan before paying electricity. Scope: `vas:read`.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Validate before **Pay electricity**. Pick `plans[].planId` from `GET /vas/billers?category=electricity` (Eko prepaid = `ekedc_prepaid`). No `Idempotency-Key` required.
